Donor support
The ASTI program is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with additional support from IFPRI.
The main donors that have supported ASTI’s data collection activities during 2001-08 were the World Bank through the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), the Knowledge Partnership Korea Fund for Technology and Innovation (KPKF) through the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the United States Agency for International Agricultural Development (USAID), the European Union, IFPRI, and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).
